Who we are

Brush is a painting company serving Greater Vancouver & the Lower Mainland, BC, located at 3003 Grandview Hwy, Unit 1, Suite 1010, Vancouver, BC V5M 2E4, Canada. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It is written to meet the expectations of British Columbia’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and Canada’s PIPEDA.

What we collect

Quote requests: your name, email, phone number, province and postal code, and the project details you choose to share (property type, areas, services, scope, timeline, company name if applicable).

Contact messages: your name, email, phone number (optional), and your message.

Technical logs: like most websites, our hosting provider records basic technical information (such as IP address and request time) in server logs for security and reliability.

Why we collect it

We use your information for one purpose: to respond to you — preparing your quote, arranging the free visit, and following up on your request. We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

Where it's stored

Form submissions are delivered to a private Google Sheet in our Google account and recorded in our hosting provider’s (Vercel) server logs. These providers process data on our behalf and may store it outside Canada (typically in the United States). We keep access limited to the people who need it to respond to you.

Analytics

If analytics are enabled on this site, we use Google Analytics to understand aggregate site usage (pages visited, general region, device type). This data is statistical and is not used to identify you personally. You can block analytics with common browser tools and the site works exactly the same.

How long we keep it

We keep quote and contact information for as long as it’s reasonably needed to respond to you and maintain ordinary business records. You can ask us to delete your information at any time (see below).

Your rights

Under BC PIPA and PIPEDA you may ask us: what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, or to withdraw consent to further contact. Email us at hello@justbrush.ca or call (672) 952-8292 and we’ll respond promptly.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal information, we’ll update this page and its “last updated” date. Significant changes will be noted plainly at the top of this policy.
