A painting company built on prep
Brush paints homes and businesses across Greater Vancouver & the Lower Mainland, BC. We do one thing — painting — and we do the unglamorous parts properly: the filling, sanding, caulking, and priming that decide whether a finish lasts.
We’re not a general contractor that also paints. We’re painters, and that focus shows in the work: clean lines, protected spaces, and a project that runs the way we said it would. Pick a colour. We sweat the rest.
Why prep comes first
Most paint jobs don’t fail because of the paint. They fail because of what’s under it — unfilled cracks, glossy surfaces that were never sanded, bare patches that were never primed. So we treat prep as the real job: we fill, sand, caulk, clean, and prime before any colour goes up, so the finish bonds properly and actually lasts.
It’s slower on day one and cheaper over the years. A well-prepped surface holds its finish through daily life and coastal weather instead of peeling early and needing to be done twice. We believe in it enough to offer prep & repair as a standalone service.
How we work: The Brush Standard
Every project runs the same way: book a free visit, get your written quote — usually within two business days — then we prep, paint, and walk through. Along the way, four named promises hold on every job, home or business, one room or the whole building.
